Big Up The 90s Press

It might be like the 90’s was only yesterday, but a group of friends have formed a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the music of their youth.

From the Spice Girls to Take That and even Britney Spears, Big Up The 90’s features a full costume show charting the decade’s fashions and sounds.  During their performances the band also cover favourites from Oasis and Blur to House of Pain and Phats and Small.

Drummer Martin Dolman, said: “we do it all and the singer puts on the pigtails for Britney Spears numbers and we all dress up for the Spice Girls.  But at the same time there was some great music which came out of the 90’s which we cover as well.”

Guitarist Rob James, singer and keyboard player Justin Hyde and Bass guitarist Dean Lathbury make up the band.

They will next appear at JB’s in Dudley on May 22nd, then the Knight’s Quest in Rowley Regis on May 23rd before a show at the Robin 2 in Bilston on June 11th.
